We remind property owners and tenants about problems caused in leaving properties unheated in cold spells, especially empty properties.
It is advisable to check heating systems are functioning.
Avoid condensation; this is a particular problem in the windows of flats, as clothes are dried inside and windows not open. Ensure your extractor fans are working and ventilate your property.

Please also report any items such as blocked gutters, missing roof tiles and slip/trip hazards etc to us.
